Gall bladder stones and good and bad lipids

The gallbladder is a small pouch underneath the liver and collects all the bile juice produced by the liver as a small store house and on command from the stomach; after intake of foods/fats; releases it.

The liver is also an organ that is good for carbohydrate and fat metabolism. It is now a known fact after a research study by Jilin University’s First Hospital that individuals with high levels of LDL (low density lipoprotein) or the ‘bad fat’ and also the ones with low levels of HDL (high density lipoprotein) or the good fat have a higher chance of developing gallbladder stones.
Gallstones or cholelithiasis may or maynot cause symptoms. Some people may experience indigestion, nausea , vomiting, pain in the back or upper -right abdomen, cramping from gallstones or discomfort which can be severe.

It is contrary to what has been known all along that it is high total cholesterol that actually makes one prone to gallstones.

To maintain the balance of lipids in the circulation is the key and homeopathy has good remedies like Crataegus, Chelidonium, Cardus mar to achieve the same.
