Well, we are in the midst of the hot summer and very little possibility of Dengue fever affecting us. Why then are these lines? Doesn’t it cause anxiety?
Well the thought of prevention should start right away. In the sense that dengue is transmitted by the Aedes aegypti mosquito which breeds in stagnant water. So the idea is right from now onwards if our mind is focussed on keeping the puddles of stagnant water away; we will keep the mosquito and dengue away as much as possible.
It is time to have an idea of the protecting the doors and windows with screens that do not allow entry of mosquito into our living areas. Also plan to empty the buckets, planters, pools and trashcans that can be a source of water to accumulate.
Let us fight Dengue before it begins!
Be prepared for monsoon and dengue!
